Just remember the tax increase of 18.35 per $1,000 of property value. Per year with a 3 to 4 percent increase yearly. This agreement is a slap in the face and the mayor knows it. This was not a new negotiation this was from the same blink of the previous two ten years plans. I have the numbers.. I will be bringing them to the table.. 180-acres Rhode Island College. Providence College its setting in the city, and the campus size is 105 acres. Johnson and Whales campus size is 138 acres. Rhode Island School of Design campus size is 23 acres. And Brown's main campus covers 146 acres. That’s just the institutions. Not including the property owned by private public partnerships. Rhode Island has an average listing price per acre of $174,592….
